The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra will bring another two performances from their popular Do-Re-Mi children’s concert series to the MAVC Gozo Visual & Performing Arts School on Saturday 15th of June.
10:30am Do-Re-Mi meets MI
The morning performance will feature the Flute, with the charming character of Mimosa (MI), who takes on the role of a caterpillar, introduces us to her many animal friends and finally transforms into a butterfly.
1:30pm Do-Re-Mi meets SOL
The afternoon performance, starting at 1:30pm, will feature the Double Bass, with the fun-loving character of Solange (SOL), who travels the world with the help of a magic hat and the enthusiastic participation of the audience!
The script of these two shows are written by Simon Bartolo and will be presented by Christopher Spiteri and Mario Cassar. They will feature woodwind and string players from the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra and are brought together under the artistic direction of Maria Blanco.
Each of the Do-Re-Mi shows is one-hour in length and features an interactive presentation of music and acting. The concerts are targeted for a young audience of between 5 and 10 years old (as well as their parents!) and will encourage friendly audience participation.
Do not miss this opportunity to come join MI, SOL and their friends, in this very special edition at the Gozo VPA School!
